M. D. Henry Company (MDH) has been a trustworthy provider of transmission and distribution products and services for the electrical power industry for over five decades. Over the years, we've provided the material and services for over 10,000 projects in the utility, municipal, and industrial markets while also supplying distributors and contractors.
We're proud that MDH is large enough to meet nearly all T&D needs, from generator terminals to the distribution lines. We're more proud, however, to be small enough to provide friendly and immediate service to meet our customers' most critical schedules.
Operating from our headquarters in Pelham, AL, with a 120,000 s.f. facility, MDH serves clients across the United States and the globe. We are unique in that we provide our own in-house engineering, on-premises steel fabrication, and packaging in our separate 10,000 s.f. warehouse – all to make business better for our customers.

PackageD Substation
MDH's standard Substation Packaging includes equipment and materials for the ground grid, fence, steel structures, anchor bolts, switches, CT's, PT's, CCVT's, lighting, station service transformer, bus, connectors, jumpers, and other associated hardware.
Transmission Line Manufacturing
Our Transmission Line Manufacturing division provides a complete line of engineered, tapered steel poles, and wood-equivalent steel poles for transmission, distribution, and other similar applications. We finish these products by painting, weathering, or galvanizing as needed.
